Accommodations are limited at Grand Canyon itself, schedule early, recommended at least six months in advance. Lodging and accommodations   are available in nearby towns, Flagstaff, Williams, and Tusayan Arizona are located near Grand Canyon's South Rim. Page Arizona is located further North, near Grand Canyon's North Rim and Lake Powell.

With easy accessibility and open for a longer season, Grand Canyon's South Rim is the mecca for vacation travel. Grand Canyon's North Rim is open for a limited season, the magnificent views are worth the additional travel.

Restaurants are available in Grand Canyon's South Rim area. Fast food keeps the children happy!   Restaurants   in Flagstaff Arizona and the area of Grand Canyon offer everything from fast food to fine dining, and ethnic food to seafood, great steak house restaurants can also be found in this area.

From   Phoenix   plan a full four hours to arrive at your Grand Canyon destination, extra for sight-seeing along the way.

Arizona GRAND CANYON

TRANSPORTATION: Free shuttle service is available throughout Grand Canyon Village, along the West Rim Drive, and to the South Kaibab Trailhead during peak season only (summer) - West Rim Drive and Yaki Point are closed to private vehicles during summer.

RATES & FEES: Rates from $10/person (walking, bike, etc) to $20/vehicle are charged for admission to Grand Canyon National Park. Other fees - backcountry, impact, etc may also apply.
